The pandemic has pressed millions of our neighbors to rely on food assistance programs as jobs vanish and budgets shrink. Feeding America estimates more than 54 million people – including 1 in 4 children – may experience food insecurity in 2020.

Join three nationally recognized leaders as they dig into the impact of COVID-19 on hunger and the following issues:

  • The connection between food security and overall health
  • The role of health and wellness professionals in food insecurity
  • Misconceptions about food insecurity from a viewpoint of ethics and social justice
  • Innovative ways to help fight hunger locally
