Dawn Watson has been the government relations consultant for the Oklahoma Academy of Family Physicians since 2017 and is the owner of DW Strategies, a lobbying and consulting firm based in Oklahoma City. Through her firm, she works with a variety of clients, mostly in the health field, including the OAFP. Prior to starting her own company, Dawn served as the government relations director for the American Cancer Society and before that she was a research analyst on the nonpartisan staff of the Oklahoma House of Representatives. She is a graduate of Oklahoma State University and before joining the world of politics was a journalist.

Taylor has worked in marketing and advertising for over 13 years, specializing in both traditional and digital. In 2018 Taylor started her own marketing company focusing on locally owned businesses and organizations. In 2019 she began working directly with the OAFP by assisting Sam Blackstock in communication efforts for Social Media, Monthly eNewsletters, the Quarterly Magazine, the OAFP Website Development and Sponsored Events.
